Nurturing DEI&B at Tris

Our Diversity & Inclusion Committee, a long-running employee resource group at Tris Pharma, is tasked with recommending specific actions to educate, cultivate and motivate open dialogue and monitor Tris’ efforts to curate and maintain an inclusive workplace environment.

One key initiative of the D&I Committee is the creation of monthly informational presentations to celebrate and educate employees about culturally significant events and traditions. From Lunar New Year to Los Posadas, these presentations highlight the richness of our diverse workforce and provide an opportunity to learn about the customs and values that shape our colleagues' identities.

By fostering understanding and empathy, these efforts contribute to an ever-evolving, culturally inclusive workspace where every individual feels valued and respected. The D&I Committee plays a pivotal role in advancing Tris Pharma's vision of an inclusive and equitable workplace by actively promoting cultural awareness and appreciation across the organization.

Cultivating Healthy Workplace Culture

The mission of the Women’s Business Council is to make a positive impact at Tris Pharma by strengthening and promoting the personal and professional development of women. We seek to empower, inspire and celebrate women by providing access and opportunities to learn, network and share their expertise to become successful leaders.

Our Women’s Business Council comprises women and men from both the professional and scientific communities within Tris – all of whom come together as allies and advocates for women in the STEM world, the boardroom and as some of the driving forces at Tris.

The purpose of the WBC is vital to our broader D&I efforts, as it reinforces Tris Pharma's commitment to equity and representation for all genders and identities. By investing in the personal and professional growth of women, the Council helps to build an inclusive workplace where diverse perspectives are recognized and valued.

The empowerment of women aligns with our goal of fostering innovation and creativity, creating pathways for meaningful leadership opportunities that benefit the entire organization.
